How It Works

Students, parents or guardians can call for information and enrollment.

This program is designed to help students who have “dropped out” of school earn a real high school diploma. The program is at home and online. It is made for students who are working, or have family and life responsibilities.

The program does not cost you anything. In fact, we will provide you with a computer (or laptop) and curriculum.

   STEPS TO START:

1.) Fill out the online enrollment form, call or email us.

2.) We will check the requirements to see if you qualify - if you do then you can enroll.

3.) After you enroll, you will meet with an advisor who is a certified teacher. They will work with you on an individual basis to help you get your classes and materials.

4.) Pick up your computer (desktop or laptop) and materials you need.

This is not a general education diploma (G.E.D.) program. Students who finish this program successfully will be issued a high school diploma from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, just like every other diploma the district issues.

Students must meet the age requirements and not currently be enrolled in any public school in order to qualify. All students must meet the State of Alaska's requirements and pass the entire High School Graduation Qualifying Exam to earn a diploma.
